Grimoldi Milano's founder, Anselmo Grimoldi, was born to be a master watchmaker. He spent 10 years as an apprentice under the master designer Romolo Grassi, and then, waiting for the right opportunity, went independent in the early 1960s, first opening a shop in Brianza, near Milan, and then in Milan, in the historic shop at Piazza del Duomo, no. 21, which was formerly occupied by Casertelli, a goldsmith's shop founded in 1889, where it has been operating since 1986.
Currently, Grimoldi has a second store in Milan's Piazza del Duomo, which opened in 2008 after acquiring the store that previously housed the long-established brand VERGA.
In 2009, Grimoldi Milano opened in the square of Portofino.
During more than 50 years of continuous business, Grimoldi has achieved numerous successes both in Italy and on the international market.
We actively sell our original watches and jewelry in major European markets as well as the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, Southeast Asia, the Far East, and North and South America.
Grimoldi and his wife Rosanna passed on his experience to their four children, Roberto, Pamela, Giorgio and Cesare, while also passing on his love and sincere passion for their work.
Indeed, for the Grimoldi family, selling one of their creations is not about doing business, but about offering their customers a particularly desirable object and one that they have endowed with deep personal value.
